Homes To Rent - Flats

Ash Residential has a wide selection of flats spanning a large area of South Manchester.  The areas are Chorlton-On-Medlock, Victoria Park, Longsight, Rusholme, Withington, Fallowfield, Didsbury, Whalley Range & Chorlton.  We deal with student and professional applications.
As a policy, we do not put families with young children into flats.

All our flats are fully furnished.  This means the landlord supplies cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and vacuum cleaner.  Suitable seating and/or dining facilities, depending on the size of the lounge.  The bedrooms, unless specified, have double bed, wardrobe and set of drawers.  Some flats also have a study desk and chair in each bedroom.  Some have off road parking.

All our rents quoted are exclusive of any utility bills (this includes gas, electricity and water supplies as well as Council Tax if applicable).  We can assist you in registering with a utility company and do inform the Council Tax department. It is your responsibility to pay all these bills.

Professionals

When you apply for a flat to rent you will need to supply your work references and previous landlord details.  You will also need to supply original photo I.D. (passport and driving licence is acceptable).  Flats are let on a 6-month minimum period.

When you have viewed a property and would like to rent it, a holding fee of £100 per person per room (i.e. a 2 bed flat needs £200 cash).  This fee, which is refundable, means it is taken off the viewing list while the application procedure is completed.  When successful and a moving in date is agreed to pick up the keys, you must bring in cleared funds, the first and last months rent of a 6-month contract plus one weeks rent as agency administration fee.  The amount is reduced by the amount taken as a holding fee.  This is all explained at application stage and is clearly shown on your application.
