About The Areas

Rusholme

The main Wilmslow Road runs through the centre of Rusholme, known as the “curry mile”.  It is one of the busiest bus routes in the Country and is one of the main routes to the Town Centre and University.   Many of our properties, especially house are close or in walking distance to the bus routes.

Fallowfield

Is adjacent to Rusholme and a favourite student area.  There are many shops, pubs and clubs around this area, some dedicated solely for students.
Wilmslow Road runs through the centre of Fallowfield enjoying the same bus routes as Rusholme.  It is an easy walk to Owens Park Campus and near the large Platt Fields Park.

.

Withington

Is slightly further out than Fallowfield but again along the Wilmslow Road. This area is slightly quieter than both Rusholme and Fallowfield but still enjoys an eclectic group of shops and pubs. It is not so focussed on student life and is usually preferred by professionals.

West Didsbury

This area has now become the “café society” area previously held by Didsbury. It is a little further out but has a good bus service to Oxford Road and the Town Centre. There are many small specialist shops, good night life and a nice area to live. We mainly have flats in this area.

Didsbury

The main bus routes run through this area to the town centre, close to the Didsbury Campus and within easy reach of Fletcher Moss Park. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants and coffee shops catering to young professionals. All the well-known pub and restaurant chains are in Didsbury and it also has a bustling nightlife especially at the weekends. It is close to cinemas, health clubs, bowling alley and bingo hall. Properties available are limited and rents are slightly higher due to the areas reputation.

Whalley Range

This is a fairly quiet area but close to bus routes to Chorlton and Town Centre. Most of the properties are flats with secure parking and usually rent out quickly. Preferred by professionals with their own transport as it brings the road network and access to the motorways within easy reach

Chorlton

Becoming a very sought after area to live in for professionals. The centre is very cosmopolitan with a wide variation of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a good transport service to the town centre, Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Stockport.

Chorlton-on-Medlock   & Victoria Park

Close to Rusholme and within walking distance of the hospital and Universities.  It is ideal for both professionals and students.  There is a very good bus service to the town centre and East Didsbury where there are cinemas, bowling alley, health club and bingo hall!
A mixture of flats and houses are available and is usually preferred by people working at the Hospital and Universities who prefer the option of walking to work or to suit their shift pattern working day.
